Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract role working with students during an Extended School Year (ESY) program, taking place from July 6th through August 3rd. This opportunity is perfect for a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) eager to make a difference in a supportive school environment. Enjoy a consistent, part-time schedule of approximately three days per week, providing essential therapeutic services to help students achieve their mobility and physical development goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Previous experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educational teams, students, and families
• Ability to implement and document individualized plans of care
• Flexibility and adaptability within a school environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and school staff to integrate therapy into the educational setting
• Conduct student assessments and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and student progress
• Offer guidance to staff and families on strategies to enhance students' physical abilities
• Support a welcoming and inclusive school culture
