Overview
Interventional Radiology Tech travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date: August 2, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,917 – $3,085 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 4x10-hour days. Setting: hospital-based travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare interventional radiology suites and scrub in for procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure set-up of necessary instruments and supplies
- Assist physicians during IR procedures, including handling catheters, wires, and other devices
- Monitor patient status during procedures and in recovery, observing for adverse reactions
- Operate imaging equipment as directed, document findings, and ensure proper radiation safety practices
- Assist with post-procedure care and patient transport as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control standards

Requirements
- Active ARRT Radiography certification
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts licensure or licensure pending (may start with KS lic pending)
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years IR experience with scrub experience required
- 3 years IR experience preferred; large hospital setting; peripheral and neurovascular experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume IR environment
