Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in San Ramon, CA. Duties Draft and review pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation and transactional matters. Collaborate with partners and team members to prepare for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Maintain clear communication with clients and adhere to internal deadlines and quality standards. Requirements Strong foundation in law with the ability to apply legal principles effectively. Knowledge of labor and employment law or willingness to develop expertise in this area. Proficient research skills, including case law, statutes, and regulations. Effective negotiation skills for resolving disputes and drafting agreements. Strong written and oral advocacy skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment. Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and maintain client confidentiality. Prior experience in litigation or transactional work preferred; relevant internships or clerkships beneficial. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission (or eligibility for admission) to the California Bar. Skills Clear and practical legal advice provision.
