Communications Coordinator Location: Orland, IN, US • Job Status: Salary • Reports To: Communication Manager • Level: Bachelor in related Field • Travel: 50% Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually • Posted: 8 days ago • Requisition ID: 1314 POSITION SUMMARY Administer and support communication internally and externally for the department by executing and monitoring communications strategies. This role involves creating public relations and marketing materials such as press releases, blog posts, and internal newsletters; tracking and reporting analytics on marketing and communications campaigns; and coordinating promotional events. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Utilize all communication resources across business units. Write newsletters, website copy, brochures, and press releases. Capture on‑site content and photos telling the company story. Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies that support company objectives. Monitor analytics and produce reports on communication campaign performance. Stay current on industry trends and recommend strategy adjustments. Respond to media inquiries and maintain community relationships. Plan conferences, tradeshows, company picnics, and sponsor events. Coordinate volunteers, support staff, vendors, and other logistics for events. Conduct outreach to press, magazines, influencers, and build strategic partnerships. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years’ experience in a communications or marketing role. Superior time management and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines. Analytical thinking and critical reasoning. Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to create visually compelling presentations. Knowledge of email marketing software such as Constant Contact or similar. Understanding of communications and marketing ethics and best practices. Proficient public speaking abilities are an asset.
