If you have mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with tools, and want a role where you can grow your skills across multiple departments, this is a solid long-term opportunity.What You'll DoAssemble metal hatches and panels using drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, and tape measures.Read and interpret blueprints to complete accurate mechanical builds.Prepare panels for finishing by installing insulation and hanging panels for painting.Package completed assemblies, verify order accuracy, and prepare products for shipment.Cross-train in multiple departments to support production needs and expand your skill set.Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and ensure high-quality workmanship.Follow safety procedures and proper tool usage in a metal manufacturing environment.Maintain a clean, organized workspace similar to an auto body shop.What Makes You a Great FitAt least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience.Ability to read blueprints and take precise measurements with a tape measure.Comfortable using hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, torque tools, etc.).Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working across departments.High school diploma or equivalent.Experience in automotive, metal fabrication, or similar environments is a plus.Familiarity with torque tools and basic mechanical tasks (oil changes, repairs).Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes.Why You'll Love Working HereProfit sharing that increases with tenure.Generous PTO and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) match, FSA, and tuition reimbursement.Opportunities for long-term growth through educational assistance and cross-training.Work on high-profile, unique projects that create a sense of pride and craftsmanship.Stable 1st-shift schedule in a non-union environment.Work Environment & ScheduleMetal manufacturing environment similar to an auto body shop (can be dirty at times).
