Job Opportunity: Palliative Medicine Physician
Our organization is seeking a full-time Palliative Medicine physician to join a hospital-based adult consult service. This position offers a fantastic work-life balance, featuring no on-call duties and no weekend responsibilities. We welcome recent fellowship graduates to apply.
The current palliative care team consists of two Nurse Practitioners and one physician, complemented by support from chaplaincy and psychology services. This is a dynamic consult service that also provides opportunities for teaching and supervising residents and medical students, engaging in didactic sessions, and collaborating closely with the Geriatrics team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive palliative care consultations for adult patients.
- Supervise and mentor residents and medical students.
- Participate in educational activities and didactics.
- Collaborate with the Geriatrics team for integrated patient care.
- Board certification in Palliative Medicine.
- Recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The competitive salary range for this position is between $225,000 and $250,000, with salary and rank determined by experience.
