Clients have access to focused, top-tier investment talent equipped with comprehensive resources designed to deliver competitive long-term performance.Victory Capital is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, development, and performance management of a direct business operations team, ensuring that daily workflows, service level commitments, and quality standards are consistently met. This position requires sound judgment, strong ownership, and the ability to operate independently while managing a team responsible for high-volume, detail-sensitive work. The ideal candidate will proactively identify operational risks and process gaps, ensure appropriate staffing and workload allocation, and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal business partners and external vendors. This position operates in a team environment and requires regular collaboration with peer leaders, business partners, and senior management.You will report to the Director of Operations.You Will:Coach, mentor, and lead a team of operations representatives responsible for supporting mutual fund account processing, servicing, and related functions.Lead the team to deliver on performance goals, including efficiency, accuracy, and quality standards.Monitor team output and interactions to ensure quality and compliance standards are consistently met.Manage adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies, escalating risks and concerns as appropriate.Maintain clear visibility into team workload, assignments, and productivity, adjusting resource allocation as business needs evolve.Conduct regular team meetings and monthly 1-on-1 check-ins with direct reports to support performance, development, and engagement.Identify, prioritize, and lead process improvement and automation initiatives across the team's workflows, partnering with Technology and Data & Analytics teams as needed to implement scalable solutions.Identify, document, and maintain operational processes and procedures, proactively closing identified gaps.Manage employee performance in a timely manner, including coaching, documentation, and corrective action when necessary.Own escalations and issues within scope of responsibility through resolution, exercising appropriate urgency based on business and client impact.Exercise sound judgment on process ownership and cross-functional impact, engaging appropriate stakeholders before implementing changes.Partner with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology) and external vendors to support business initiatives and operational readiness.Support special projects and new product/process implementations as assigned.You Have:Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in an operations management or supervisory role, preferably within a financial services or asset management environment.Proven ability to lead teams to achieve business goals while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.Demonstrated experience independently managing performance, coaching, and development of direct reports.Strong data analytics skills and the ability to interpret operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Experience developing, documenting, and enhancing operational processes and procedures, with a demonstrated track record of driving measurable process improvement and/or automation initiatives.Change management experience, including leading a team through a significant process, system, or organizational change.Ability to exercise independent judgment on routine operational matters, escalating only when appropriate.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs.Foundational business knowledge of managing revenue and expenses.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and proactively with business partners and leadership.Ability to collaborate and execute across all levels of the organization.Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to drive work to completion without requiring significant oversight.Experience in the financial services industry.FINRA Series 65 required or must obtain within 1 year of hire date.Preferred Skills:2 + years of progressive experience in operations leadership within financial services, asset management, or a related industry.Working knowledge of mutual funds, custodial/transfer agency platforms, and related account servicing systems.Experience managing operational readiness for new product launches or significant process changes.Project management experience and ability to meet deadlines.Ability to facilitate problem-solving with the team and promote a shared sense of ownership of business outcomes and customer outcomes.Our Benefits:Victory Capital Management offers excellent Medical, Dental, Vision plans, Flexible PTO, Family Medical and Disability Leaves, Education Tuition Reimbursement and a 401k plan with a generous employer match.Target Compensation:The target base salary range for this position is $80,000 -
