Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you'll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• Current state license and national certification to practice nuclear medicine (ARRT(N) or NMTCB required).
• BLS certification.
• 2 years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating gamma cameras / SPECT imaging equipment.
• Ability to follow radiation safety protocols and use radiation detection instruments.
• Willingness to work in a clinical hospital environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred: prior experience with cardiac nuclear studies and SPECT/CT imaging.

• Assignment length: 13 Week Assignment.
• Required certifications: ARRT(N) or NMTCB.
• Scrub policy: All scrub colors acceptable.
