Work Setting: Onsite, Two Elementary Schools
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students at two elementary school campuses. The School Psychologist will work closely with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional success.
Essential Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility for special education and related services.
Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, eligibility determinations, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff to develop effective interventions and support plans.
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns.
Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention strategies and positive behavioral supports.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
Support crisis intervention efforts as needed.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and IEP processes.
Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and report-writing skills.
Ability to effectively manage a caseload across two elementary school sites.
Required: Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist License.
Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting is required.
