Learn more about Employee Benefits Job Summary and Qualifications The RN Quality Analyst acts as a consultant to other departments to achieve transformation and sustainable change in patient outcomes based on best practice. This position acts as a liaison for leading the hospital’s improvement initiatives. What you will do in this role: Enforces all ethics and compliance policies as they pertain to his/her area. Sets an example for all staff in their daily activities. Adheres to policies on appropriate access. Respects patients and healthcare confidentiality. Educate hospital staff on evidence-based practice initiatives. Develop and recommend protocol and guidelines for evidence-based practice initiatives. Oversees, analyzes, and trends data related to throughput of targeted patient populations. Provides data to outside agencies as required and/or other applicable hospital leaders to initiate change as appropriate, to improve processes and outcomes. Work with medical staff to ensure continuity of care in designated patient populations and to ensure quality outcomes occur. Works closely with Emergency Medical Services to assure optimal continuity of care from pre-hospital to hospital. Acts as an internal hospital resource and externally in the community. Participates in identifying needs, planning and implementing educational programs for patients, families, community groups, and other designated healthcare facilities to improve outcomes. Represents the hospital at local, regional, or other applicable levels related to best practices for patients. Assures compliance with all TJC and other applicable regulatory agency guidelines. Demonstrates effective communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building skills.
