Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Setting: Hospital

Responsibilities:

• Inpatient Non-Invasive Cardiology coverage
• Cardiology consults
• Interpretation of diagnostic studies
• Weekend and night coverage as needed
• Collaboration with Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology teams

Required Procedures/Skills:

• Stress Testing (including Nuclear Stress Tests)
• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Cardioversions
• Echocardiogram Interpretation
• Holter Monitor Interpretation
• EKG Interpretation
• Cardiology Consultations

Preferred Skills:

• CTA (Cardiac CT Angiography) Reading

EMR System: Epic

Support Staff:

• 1 Non-Invasive Cardiologist
• 1 APP
• Dedicated Interventional Cardiology Team
• Dedicated Electrophysiology Team

Patient Volume: Average Daily Census of 25-35 Patients

Hospital Size: 265 Beds

Coverage Needed:

• Full-Time Coverage Preferred
• 1-2 Weeks Per Month Considered
• Weekend Support Required
• Night Coverage as Needed

On-Call/Weekends:

• Weekend Coverage Required
• Night Coverage Required as Needed

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ Required
• DEA Required
• ACLS Certification Required
• BLS Certification Required
