Physician - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide non-invasive cardiology coverage for 1-2 weeks per month with weekend support, weekends, and nights as needed
• Average daily census of 25-35 patients, serving adult patient population ages 18 and older
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms, Holter monitors, stress testing (including nuclear), and EKGs
• Conduct special procedures including stress testing, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and cardioversions
• Provide consult services within a 265-bed hospital setting
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
• Board certification or board eligibility required
• Active PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
• DEA required
• ACLS/BLS certifications required
• CTA reading certification preferred

The hospital utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and maintains dedicated support staff across its cardiology departments to ensure high-quality patient care.
