Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Locums - Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Cardiology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Start Date: September 29, 2026

Assignment Duration: 24 weeks

Coverage Requirements:

• Full-time coverage
• Minimum commitment of 6 months preferred
• Coverage need of 1-2 weeks per month with weekend support
• Weekend and evening call coverage as needed

Schedule Details:

• Monday-Sunday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break
• 8 working hours per day
• Occasional weeknight call

Practice Setting: Hospital

Department: Non-Invasive Cardiology

Patient Population: Adult patients (18+)

Patient Volume: Average daily census: 25-35 patients

Support Staff:

• 1 Non-Invasive Cardiologist
• 1 Advanced Practice Provider
• Interventional Cardiology support available
• Electrophysiology support available
• 1 Interventional Cardiologist and 1 APP are always present in the hospital

Responsibilities:

• Inpatient cardiology consults
• Reading and interpretation of:
  • Echocardiograms
  • Holter monitors
  • Stress tests, including Nuclear studies
  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Perform:
  • Stress Testing
  • Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Cardioversions
• CTA interpretation
• General non-invasive cardiology coverage

Facility Details:

• 265-bed hospital

EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology - Required
• Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC Letter of Qualification - Required
• DEA - Required
• ACLS - Required
• BLS - Required
• CTA Reading Experience - Required
