Associate Helpdesk Technician

The expected hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 depending on experience. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking an Associate Helpdesk Technician to join our office in New Rochelle, New York. DESCRIPTION

As an Associate Helpdesk Technician at Tutor Perini Corporation, reporting to the Manager of IT Operations , you will have the opportunity to: Respond to end-user help tickets, calls, and emails, quickly diagnose problems and coach end-users through a wide variety of software and hardware related resolutions. Manage user account changes in Active Directory/Entra ID. Document and elevate incidents to responsible groups when necessary. Prepare and publish self-help documentation for common "how to" problems. Proactively monitor and perform troubleshooting to diagnose and isolate network problems and minimize downtime. Image new PC's and update images on currently deployed PC's utilizing the SmartDeploy platform. Inventory new equipment and software and perform periodic audits of deployed assets.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in conjunction with other certifications and work experience considered. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Minimum of two years of IT service desk experience CompTIA A+ certification preferred Microsoft Certified Professional preferred KCS (Knowledge Centered Service) or equivalent certification is a plus. Proven mastery of Windows operating systems, including Windows 11. Strong working knowledge of Active Directory – ability to create/modify/disable accounts. Familiarity with drive mappings/Desktop Authority application is recommended. Ability to install, upgrade and troubleshoot computers, monitors, printers, copiers, and multi-function devices (MFPs). Ability to troubleshoot network connection issues – both wired and wireless. Understand and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 applications. Ability to set up smart phones and tablet computers (iPads) for corporate access and basic troubleshooting support. Excellent documentation and organizational skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help end-users, plus work well with others in a team-oriented environment. Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
