Inventory Associate

Role and Responsibilities

Inventory management:

1. Regularly checking stock levels.
2. Receiving and inspecting deliveries.
3. Verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, checking for damage or discrepancies, and reporting issues.
4. Storage and organization:
5. Properly storing supplies in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and rotation of stock.
6. Issuing supplies.
7. Processing requests from employees, fulfilling orders accurately, and maintaining proper documentation.
8. Updating inventory records in a computerized system, tracking stock movements, and generating reports on usage and stock levels.
9. Physical inventory counts by conducting periodic checks of stock on hand to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Skills and Abilities

1. Strong organizational and attention to detail
2. Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software
3. Basic math skills for calculations related to stock levels and orders
4. Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues and vendors
5. Ability to lift and move supplies as needed
