Senior DevOps Engineer Job Description: The Senior DevOps Engineer will support multiple software products and brands across the organization, including Debt Solutions, CoStar Suites, LoopNet, Apartments.com, Homes.com, and Ten‑X. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, in‑person, not‑for‑profit university or college. 5+ years experience managing heavy‑traffic web sites using mass‑scale architecture with a developer focus. Solid sizing and estimation techniques for small to medium‑size tasks and projects. Infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform or similar. Heavy experience using AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. Strong understanding of Kubernetes environments and supporting tooling. Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical application to improving workflows, observability and team efficiency. Heavy scripting support with PowerShell or Bash. Conceptual understanding of SQL and No‑SQL databases, with ability to evaluate and select appropriate solutions. Experience configuring Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for performance caching and global traffic management. Familiarity with infrastructure foundation components of large networks in AWS and on‑prem (systems & network administration, DNS, hypervisors, containers, databases, multi‑datacenters). Nice to Haves Enterprise monitoring tools experience (APM, system vitals, synthetics, RUM). Programming experience in Java, C#, Python, Node.js, server‑less architecture. PCI compliance and remediation familiarity. Mobile application support (iOS, Android). REST API or microservices development. Agile methodologies, sprint cycle experience.
