Salary: $62,880 - 84,528 per year Requirements:

• We require six years of progressive professional experience in the insurance industry.
• We require at least two years of experience in data analysis, database management, and reporting.
• We require intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• We require a degree in data science, business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• We require applicants to provide proof of degree if requested; foreign degrees must include a credential evaluation report.
• We prefer professional designations such as MCM, FLMI, CIE, or AIE.
• We prefer experience with HMOs, HCSCs, life and annuity insurers, disability insurers, or property and casualty insurers.
• We prefer experience using NAIC iSite+.
• We prefer experience with auditing, analytics, and cloud-based platforms such as TeamMate, ThoughtSpot, and Snowflake.
• We prefer experience in contract management or drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• We prefer experience with data analysis, research, or data science concepts.
• We prefer experience with regulatory compliance or examinations.
• We prefer experience with health care benefit plan design, distribution, or administration.

• We conduct market conduct research and analysis for insurance companies and other regulated entities.
• We analyze data, regulatory filings, consumer complaints, and company records to identify trends, risks, and possible compliance issues.
• We perform HCBM data reviews and assess compliance with Washington laws and regulations.
• We evaluate matters involving marketing, advertising, producer licensing, network adequacy, provider access, and insurance filings.
• We research and interpret state and federal insurance laws, regulations, and policies.
• We prepare reports, findings, recommendations, and regulatory documentation.
• We use analytical and regulatory systems such as TeamMate+, ORCA, and other data tools to document and support our work.
• We collaborate with agency staff, regulated entities, providers, and other regulators on consumer protection and market conduct matters.
• We support regulatory actions, special projects, market scans, and analysis of emerging issues.
• We stay current on insurance industry trends, regulatory developments, and analytical best practices.
