As a Security Officer for Shopping Plaza in Lynwood, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this mobile role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to help support site rules, direct foot traffic, and report unauthorized entry attempts and/or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or notable conditions, and relay relevant information during shift changes to help support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Fluency in Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing, is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
