Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to handle family law and/or civil litigation matters in Champaign, IL. This primarily remote position requires in-person court appearances approximately 2-3 times per week. The firm welcomes both experienced attorneys and those seeking mentorship and hands-on experience. Duties Handle a caseload in family law and/or civil litigation. Attend court locally approximately 2-3 times per week. Manage cases with administrative and legal support. Grow into increased independence over time. Requirements Experienced Attorneys (3+ years): Background in family law and/or civil litigation. Junior Attorneys (0-3 years): Licensed or awaiting bar results. Interest in litigation and courtroom experience. Willingness to learn and grow with mentorship. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law or awaiting bar results. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
