The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and system design. Key responsibilities for this role include pipeline development, data modeling, system integration, technical strategy, and IP development. The VP will be instrumental in building and maintaining robust ETL/ELT workflows, architecting cloud-based data warehouses, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across diverse operating systems. A heavy emphasis is placed on building high-performance data warehouses and pipelines, as well as driving AI-based workflows on top of structured datasets. Applicants for the Vice President of Data Science and Engineering position at the company should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and 4-10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of operating independently, strong technical skills in SQL and Python, and extensive experience with cloud data platforms and production pipeline orchestration.
