Volition Brewing is seeking a creative, organized, and highly motivated Social Media Manager & Content Creator to help tell our story and grow our brand. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media channels, and supporting marketing initiatives that drive awareness, customer engagement, and sales.

The ideal candidate is a skilled content creator who understands how to build audiences through compelling storytelling, short-form video, photography, and community engagement. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong emphasis on creating content that reflects the personality, culture, and quality of the Volition brand.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

· Execute social media strategies developed in partnership with the Marketing Director.

· Manage daily activity across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

· Schedule, publish, and optimize content according to the content calendar.

· Monitor community engagement, respond to comments and messages, and foster brand advocacy.

· Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities.

Content Creation

· Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content featuring brewery operations, beer releases, events, customers, and team members.

· Create engaging short-form video content optimized for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

· Edit content using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms.

· Write compelling captions, promotional copy, and storytelling content aligned with the Volition brand voice.

· Build and maintain a robust library of visual content assets.

Marketing Support

· Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to execute marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.

· Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, special events, and community partnerships.

· Assist with email marketing, website updates, and promotional materials as needed.

· Identify opportunities to amplify customer stories, brewery culture, and brand experiences.

Analytics & Performance

· Track social media performance and provide regular reporting to the Marketing Director.

· Analyze engagement, audience growth, reach, and content performance metrics.

· Make recommendations for content optimization based on data and audience insights.

Qualifications

Required

· 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts and creating digital content.

· Demonstrated experience producing engaging photo and video content.

· Strong video editing and content production skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and team members.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

· Experience in the craft beer, beverage, hospitality, restaurant, or lifestyle industries.

· Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and social media scheduling platforms.

· Experience with paid social advertising.

· Basic graphic design capabilities.

· Passion for craft beer, local businesses, and community engagement.

· Consistent execution of the content calendar.

· Growth in followers, engagement rates, and social reach.

· Increased awareness and attendance for brewery events.

· Increased engagement around new beer releases and promotions.

· Creation of a scalable and organized content library.
