Senior Counsel

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across the organization. The role involves managing commercial agreements, litigation, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters within the life sciences and diagnostics sector. The position requires 7+ years of experience as a licensed U.S. attorney with both law firm and in-house background, preferably in life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements and complex legal matters
• Manage litigation, government investigations, and regulatory compliance matters
• Provide guidance on global regulatory topics including anti-corruption and trade compliance
• Support corporate governance, intellectual property, and legal function leadership
• Develop training materials, process improvements, and supervise paralegal staff

Requirements

• 7+ years licensed U.S. attorney experience in law firms and in-house roles
• Active U.S. Bar membership in good standing
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and mentoring capabilities
• Substantial deal negotiation experience with executed transaction track record
• Collaborative team player thriving in fast-paced, complex global environments
• Life sciences industry background preferred; healthcare regulation experience a plus

Compensation: $185,667 - $204,500 base; eligible for bonus/incentive pay
