DSV – Global transport and logistics Location: USA - Fort Worth, Silver Creek Rd Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: B1 Outbound Pick and Replenishment Supervisor - 117438 Time Type: Full Time Position Summary Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Outbound Pick and Replenishment Supervisor is responsible for day‑to‑day site operations, including supervising warehousing, receiving and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Responsibilities include planning inbound and outbound volume, customer communication activities, space utilization and management, equipment management, and people management tasks such as hiring, training, labor planning, performance appraisals and addressing performance issues. Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety and quality and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment and products safely and profitably in accordance with company policies. Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals, complying with client SLAs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, providing ideas for efficient operations and cost savings. Meet all client‑specified KPIs and comply with quality system requirements. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques, create fair supervision programs, counsel and discipline team members as needed. Collaborate with Human Resources to create hiring, training and professional development programs and participate in performance evaluation and promotion recommendation processes. Leverage team skills to deliver results in a timely manner. Keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical operational issues. Plan daily work schedules by reviewing work orders, arrival notices and customer instructions; assign duties to appropriate staff. Assess volume demands and reorganize warehouse space and staffing as needed. Ensure effective training delivery and adherence to SOPs. Maintain high motivation levels to deliver customer satisfaction. Provide ongoing growth and development opportunities for team members. Support adherence to SOPs. Conduct routine staff meetings to review daily and weekly activities. Management Information Systems Ensure all team members are properly trained on required information systems, including WMS, to meet company and client objectives. Ensure necessary software and hardware are purchased in accordance with corporate IT policies. Remain knowledgeable of changes in hardware and software technology. Develop proficiency in client systems. Customer Management Maintain high level of customer service standards for all functions. Ensure client accounts receive required operational and administrative support. Maintain appropriate contact with all functions and respond to requests when required. Attend or lead meetings with key customers to discuss any customer issues. Coordinate management of supplier/customer visits to the site. Promote a positive relationship with clients by providing excellent customer service. Budgeting & Financials Support the development of an annual operating budget. Develop and manage a system of controls to ensure service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue and profit parameters. Assist and support budgeting and pricing activities to comply with contract guidelines. Equipment & Facilities Manage existing programs for maintaining company standards of sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping, safety and equipment, including material handling equipment (MHE). Ensure team members are properly trained on any MHE. Stay informed of relevant new technology and make recommendations as applicable. Safety Achieve company goals in terms of injury frequency ratings (IFR) and other safety metrics by establishing a proactive safety culture. Audit warehouse for compliance with safety, security and quality principles and rules. Ensure all statutory requirements are adhered to within HR & Safety parameters. Other Duties Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage warehouse operations supervisors and support staff. Skills & Abilities Education & Experience Must have a high school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 7 years of experience in logistics, distribution or a related environment. 5 years of experience in a supervisory role. Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures ranging from mild to moderate during warmer and colder months. Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Demonstrated proficiency in applicable WMS systems. Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal). Proficiency in business communication at all levels. Other Strong attention to detail and accuracy; accomplish job tasks in a timely manner. Good organizational and personnel skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Good leadership, supervision and planning skills. Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends as required by operation.
