Center Manager

Job Summary

The Center Manager provides day-to-day leadership and management to ensure clients receive the


highest level of quality service in a timely and cost-effective manner. This position oversees account


management, client relationships, talent engagement, and team development. Acting as an on-

site extension of the client's HR function, the Center Manager manages all aspects of the contingent


workforce, including business relationship development, recruitment, selection, and employee


management.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Client & Business Management

• Build and maintain a strategic partnership with the client through a deep understanding of their business, direction, processes, and policies.
• Maintain close communication with key client contacts to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline that aligns with client needs and workforce demands.
• Execute and oversee recruiting plans to ensure both quantity and quality of talent.
• Screen, select, and onboard candidates according to client-specific job profiles.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and employment laws and regulations.
• Foster a consultative relationship with clients through proactive communication and service excellence.
• Market talent skills effectively to match the right candidates with client needs.
• Consistently strive to exceed client and talent expectations through innovative and efficient staffing solutions.

Staffing & Recruiting

• Create a welcoming, professional environment for associates visiting the office for employment opportunities.
• Conduct interviews and manage all onboarding processes, including E-Verify, background checks, orientation, and direct deposit setup.
• Efficiently fill job orders, ensuring optimal candidate placement and conducting follow-up calls as required.
• Serve as liaison between employees and clients, addressing attendance, performance, and workplace concerns.
• Manage assignment changes or terminations based on established policies and client needs.
• Attract, evaluate, and match applicants to open positions, prioritizing internal talent before sourcing externally.
• Participate in job fairs and recruiting campaigns using various platforms (e.g., CareerBuilder, Indeed, social media).
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients, associates, and visitors.

Client Relations

• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure staffing needs are met promptly and accurately.
• Resolve staffing issues with professionalism, urgency, and care.
• Conduct client site visits to gain a full understanding of job duties, working conditions, and skills required.
• Perform arrival and performance check-ins to ensure satisfaction with placements.
• Build long-term partnerships based on trust, service, and accountability.

Administrative Tasks

• Answer all phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Accurately maintain data in Avionté (or other ATS), including applications, payroll, assignments, workers' compensation, unemployment documentation, attendance, and performance records.
• Perform I-9 and E-Verify duties, process background checks/drug screens, and coordinate client orientations.
• Ensure all employee documentation is properly filed, scanned, and compliant with legal and client requirements.
• Follow operational procedures to ensure efficient and compliant staffing operations.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of business experience in recruiting, staffing, operations, or manufacturing (preferred).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing Workers' Compensation reporting.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and resolve issues effectively.
• Ability to present business reviews and workforce strategies to client leadership.
• Exceptional professionalism and ability to interact at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and deliver effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the staffing industry or client account management.
• Experience developing account retention and growth strategies.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary (Exempt): $65K-$70K plus variable comp bonus
• Paid Time Off: 15 days of PTO per calendar year (January-December)
