Job Info Job Location: Detroit, Michigan Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 2+ years Handling: Light Touch Additional Information CDL A Driver - Local - $26 Per Hour Location: Detroit, Michigan About the Position Transforce is seeking full-time CDL A drivers in Detroit for a local position, hauling produce to distribution centers and stores. Drivers should be prepared to work 6 days per week. Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour Overtime after 40 hours Company operates 7 days a week; drivers should be prepared to work 6 days a week Dispatch times start from Midnight to 10 AM 12-14 hours per day with a 4-hour daily minimum Job Details Route Type: Local Freight: Produce Equipment: Kenworth and Freightliner tractors (day and sleeper cabs), reefers, and straight trucks Handling: 90% no-touch freight, with potential use of electric pallet jacks 4-5 stops per day Minimum Requirements 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience Valid CDL A Drivers able to operate a manual transmission are preferred Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral Program Why Work With TransForce TransForce drivers are respected professionals.
