Database Administrator / Database Engineer

Salary: $186,000 - 226,000 per year Requirements:
- Up to 12–13 years of experience.
- Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server on Linux.
- Familiarity with Bash or other shell scripting and Python.
- Administer Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB databases.
- Build and operate reliable database platforms using monitoring, alerting, and continuous improvement practices.
- Automate database provisioning, patching, upgrades, backups, compliance activities, and other repetitive tasks.
- Support database design, architecture, and migration work involving cloud services, containerization, and cross-platform transitions.
- Create and maintain non-production database environments for development and quality assurance.
- Tune queries, review data models, and improve application performance and database security.
- Build dashboards, alerts, and runbooks from logs and metrics; participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
