Manufacturing EngineerOur client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for their Liverpool, NJ location.Responsibilities:Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.May help incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.Requirements:Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing understanding desired.Must be self-starter and take initiative on projects.Must work well with cross-functional teams.Hiring Manager would consider early career candidates with a Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering Degree and at least 1 year of industrial experience.Candidates with 2-3 years Manufacturing Experience desired.Bachelors Degree is Required.
