Puyana Plastic Surgery is seeking a warm, organized, proactive, and patient-focused Assistant Patient Coordinator to support our Patient Coordination team and help provide an exceptional experience to our surgical patients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in plastic surgery, aesthetics, patient care, and relationship-building who wants to learn the full patient coordination process and grow into a Patient Coordinator role .

Key Responsibilities

• Support Patient Coordinators throughout the patient journey, from initial inquiry through surgery.

• Communicate with prospective and existing patients by phone, text, and email.

• Follow up with leads and patients according to established workflows.

• Assist with preparing and sending surgical quotes and treatment information.

• Help coordinate consultations, appointments, and surgery scheduling.

• Assist patients with forms, financing applications, payments, and other required information.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient information in our EMR and CRM systems.

• Track outstanding patient items and follow up to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

• Assist coordinators with administrative tasks and daily priorities.

• Coordinate with the front desk, medical assistants, nursing team, and other staff as needed.

• Help ensure every patient receives a warm, responsive, and five-star experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

• An excellent communicator with strong follow-through.

• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable discussing cosmetic procedures, pricing, and financing.

• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning CRM, EMR, scheduling, and communication platforms.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, healthcare, hospitality, luxury customer service, or patient coordination is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Compensation & Growth

Compensation consists of a competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses tied to established KPIs and individual performance. This position is not commission-based. We are looking for someone who wants to learn, perform, and grow. High-performing Assistant Patient Coordinators will have the opportunity to advance into a Patient Coordinator role with greater responsibility and earning potential.
