Job Description
The Certified Medical Assistant plays a vital role in providing quality patient care within a small team environment. Reporting directly to the physician, this role involves assisting with patient preparation, accurately measuring vital signs, and performing phlebotomy procedures during routine office hours. The ideal candidate will hold necessary certifications and contribute to efficient clinical operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Measure and record vital signs accurately
- Perform phlebotomy and manage specimen collection
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of medical assisting experience
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Phlebotomy certification
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and vital signs measurement
