The PARC is a 24/7 animal hospital that provides both wellness care and 24/7 emergency and critical care. Our 25,000 square foot facility features glass walls that help calm pets’ fears. As an ER veterinary technician, you’ll provide hands‑on care for patients, facilitate outpatient treatments, perform laboratory tests, and support services such as admitting and discharging patients. What You Will Do Support veterinarians during emergency cases Deliver emergency first aid and advanced nursing care to injured or critical patients Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and post‑operative care Prepare patients and instruments for emergency procedures Obtain and monitor vital signs, including blood pressure and SpO₂ Collect lab samples (blood, urine, tissue) and perform in‑house diagnostics Operate digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Accurately document patient histories and medical records Support patient flow through admissions, treatment, and discharge Maintain clean, sterile, and organized treatment and examination areas Use safe restraint techniques and follow hospital protocols Collaborate closely with doctors, technicians, and support teams What We’re Looking For Required Experience & Skills 2+ years of emergency veterinary technician experience ECC, CVT, LVT, RVT credentials strongly encouraged Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills Excellent attention to detail in fast‑moving situations Comfort working with ICU patients and advanced diagnostics You’ll Thrive Here If You Are Calm, focused, and decisive under pressure Passionate about emergency and critical care medicine Team‑oriented and supportive of colleagues Committed to compassionate, high‑quality patient care Growth Opportunities You can grow your career through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs, including free continuing education courses and virtual workshops.
