Clinical Inquiry Specialist-Genetic Counselor

Abbott seeks a Clinical Inquiry Specialist-Genetic Counselor for precision oncology to manage clinical and scientific inquiries from internal and external clients. The role involves providing genetic expertise, collaborating across departments, supporting education, and handling specialized projects in a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise to laboratory staff on test orders, modifications, and results interpretation
- Collaborate with molecular geneticists to deliver timely, high-quality test results
- Develop marketing materials, website content, and promote company at scientific conferences
- Create educational materials and deliver public speaking on genetic counseling topics
- Train genetic counseling assistants and facilitate special projects implementation
Requirements
- Master's degree in Genetic Counseling
- ABGC/CCGC Board Certified or eligible
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- 2+ years oncology genetics clinical experience (preferred)
- Experience with tumor NGS, ctDNA, and Molecular Residual Disease assays (preferred)
Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
