• Competitive pay: $30.00 per hour
• Great Schedule: Monday-Friday; occasional Saturdays (half day)
• Shift Times: 8:30am-5:30pm
• Duration: 13 Weeks (Coverage for LOA)

Required

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Medical Assistant Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Comfortable performing both front office and basic back office duties
• Current experience administering pediatric vaccinations
• BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multi-line phones in a busy clinic
• Self-starter with strong organization and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for pediatric patients and families
• Check patients in and out; collect and verify demographic and insurance information
• Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments efficiently
• Manage patient messages between families and providers is complete prior to visits
• Verify authorizations and ensure all documentation is complete prior to visits
• Support patient flow and maintain a welcoming, organized front desk area
• Assist with pediatric vaccinations and basic clinical duties as needed
• Exhibit patience, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with children and parents
