About the Role:
Join Gentle Touch Medical Group P C as a Medical Assistant in the beautiful Los Gatos, CA. Be a vital part of a compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Record and update patient medical histories accurately.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by physicians.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications.
- Perform basic lab tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Provide exceptional patient support and education regarding treatments.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- Aesthetics experience is a big plus
- Sales experience is a big plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
