The work we do building families offers purpose, challenge, and personal reward—and we're just getting started.Opportunity overviewWe have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant (Back Office) to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area in Los Gatos, California. This position will float to our Menlo Park, California office.Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with weekend and holiday rotationsCompensation: $25 to $27 per hour (commensurate with experience)This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.How you'll contributeAt US Fertility, collaboration is fundamental to how we work. Whether collaborating with more than 200 highly respected physicians nationwide or partnering with colleagues who are passionate about solving meaningful problems, you'll be surrounded by a team committed to shared success.In this role, the Medical Assistant will:Perform a high volume of phlebotomyMaintain supplies for the blood drawing stationsEnsure lab specimens are sent to the proper labsDocument patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient recordsUtilize the computer in entering labs and printing labelsAssist physician or ultrasound technician with various proceduresAssist with HSGs as neededTake vital signs and provide general clinical assistanceAssist with the clinical care of fertility patientsProvide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders and instructionsProvide pre and post-op educationEstablish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' familiesSupport and promote excellence in customer serviceWhat you'll bringWe're looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.Qualifications and skills include:High School diploma required; Associates degree preferredCompletion of a formal MA or Phlebotomy program preferredMinimum of one year of MA experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with medical terminology6 months of phlebotomy experience requiredExcellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsAbility to work autonomously and in a team environmentStrong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications; accuracy and speed with data entry is requiredMore important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
