This is an excellent opportunity for skilled Occupational Therapists and strong COTAs to make a genuine difference working with elementary students (ages 3 through 5th grade) in a dynamic academic setting. Positions are full-time and onsite, providing a fulfilling contract role with the support of a robust mentor program. The role offers flexibility in daily scheduling and variety in caseload, making every day engaging and rewarding.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Maryland OT or COTA license required
• Experience supporting students in school-based settings, with a focus on elementary age groups
• Comfortable working with diverse caseloads, including high-level autism, communication needs, and behavior challenges
• Able to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and support staff
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapy services to students in grades Pre-K through 5th, focusing on academic life skills and individualized student goals
• Assess students to identify needs related to fine motor, sensory integration, self-regulation, and adaptive skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct both direct services (21 hours weekly) and indirect consults as determined by caseload
• Set your own daily schedule with oversight and approval from the building administrator, allowing flexibility in your workday
• Collaborate with a district that provides excellent behavioral and communication supports
• Travel between multiple schools possible, with specifics discussed during your interview
