Electronics Tester

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking an Electronics Tester to join our team in Glenolden, PA. The position is a 1st shift position with core hours 7 am – 3 pm, Monday through Friday. The hourly rate is $26.50 per hour. What you’ll do The Electronics Tester is responsible for testing electro‑mechanical products for compliance to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and customer/internal drawings. Verify product compliance to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) / drawings and maintain accurate ATP records Utilize test fixtures and test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, device programmers, mass spectrometers, vibration tables, test chambers, hot oil rooms, etc. to perform ATP Troubleshoot and diagnose common failure modes when test failures occur Inspect and diagnose PC boards to component level for failure analysis Work from work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to assemble electro‑mechanical components Coordinate with engineering group for shared resources and test validation Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electro‑mechanical environment Eaton will not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position No relocation benefit is being offered; candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the work location (active‑duty military service members are exempt) This position requires the use of information or hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); all applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s or technical degree in electronics or a related field from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of electronic testing experience in a manufacturing environment Skills Basic understanding of pressure theory, electronic theory, Ohm’s law, and the relationship between resistance, current, and voltage When an assembly fails resistance in process or final test, ability to diagnose and recommend fixes where applicable Capability to measure resistor components with a multimeter Ability to perform ATP product testing using LabVIEW programming interface and test racks Knowledge of high and low pressure test vessels and safety precautions when working Proper use of Mil‑Spec oils and gases Basic electronic and mechanical theory related to PC board troubleshooting Additional Information Position requires the use of PPE – safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves as needed All positions may require participation in video and in‑person interviews as part of the hiring process.
