Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician

The Role
Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift will manage, build, and repair equipment, machinery, and facilities to support continuous production. The role inspects, maintains, and services mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Operates lifting and fabrication equipment safely and performs welding, carpentry, and installation tasks as required.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Manage inspections and repairs of plant machinery and equipment
- Build and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Operate machine tools, lifting devices, and fabrication equipment
- Lead installation of ductwork, piping, and sheet metal assemblies
- Operate welding, brazing, and carpentry tools for repairs
- Track and resolve equipment issues to minimize production downtime
- Perform preventive maintenance and adjust new equipment
Skills / Experience
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and PLCs
- Skilled in welding, brazing, pipe fitting, carpentry, and HVAC
- Experience with mechanical lifting devices and scaffolding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and safety skills
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with hazardous materials handling
