Global Director of Warehouse Automation role at Baxter leading the development and execution of worldwide warehouse automation strategy across the fulfillment network. The position involves managing large capital investments, driving operational transformation, and establishing automation standards to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Baxter's global warehouse automation strategy aligned with fulfillment and business objectives
- Lead large-scale warehouse automation programs with capital investments of $20M-$30M
- Establish global warehouse design principles, standards, and best practices across the distribution network
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize, plan, and execute automation initiatives
- Evaluate and implement automation technologies and solutions to improve safety, efficiency, and cost performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field
- Significant experience leading warehouse automation and distribution center design in global organizations
- Proven success managing large, complex capital projects involving warehouse automation and digital technologies
- Deep expertise in warehouse operations, WMS, material handling systems, and distribution center best practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across multiple functions, regions, and organizational levels
- Strong track record building business cases and delivering measurable operational results
- Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs in global environments
Compensation: $160,000-$220,000 base annually
