Desktop Support

Compensation: $24 - 25 /hour, depending on experience Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Support specialist to join their team! This contract opportunity is ideal for a hands‑on desktop support professional who enjoys solving technical issues, supporting end users, and keeping operations running smoothly. The role will focus on deskside support, imaging, onboarding, asset coordination, and other day‑to‑day IT support needs. Strong communication skills and a quick start‑up are especially valuable in this fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Provide deskside support for hardware and software issues Image, configure, and deploy Dell hardware Support new hire onboarding and equipment setup Assist with IT asset collection and equipment deployment Respond to user questions and resolve issues quickly Document daily tasks, issues, and resolutions accurately Work with vendors to resolve technical issues Provide basic support for A/V equipment Required Qualifications & Experience: Associate’s degree in a computer‑related field, or equivalent training 2-5 years of relevant desktop support experience Hands‑on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues Ability to support end users in‑person Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, ServiceNow,AppV, Citrix, PowerShell and BitLocker preferred Proficiency with operating systems and desktop support tools 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance Voluntary, Short‑term and Long‑term disability insurance Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit Other Information: This is a six‑month contract with potential for extension based on performance The team is currently experiencing a high workload and needs support quickly Strong interpersonal skills and ServiceNow knowledge are preferred Our client unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
