Education Level Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience Work Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (required) Financial business development experience (highly preferred) Knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services Strong client relationship-building experience License/Certification A valid and active Series 7 license (required) A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (may be obtained within a 120-day condition of employment) A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained within 120 days of employment) Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification (preferred) Duties/Responsibilities Build a foundation for a future role as a Financial Consultant. Collaborate and receive mentorship to improve service delivery. Learn and grow within Schwab’s Branch Network. Make proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients. Observe and learn from experienced Financial Consultants. Perform needs-based analysis to uncover client opportunities. Recommend appropriate financial products and solutions.
