Training Lead
Designs and delivers training for PFS staff and subcontracted providers on SSA disability programs, the listing of impairments, and reporting requirements under the contract.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver training ensuring subcontractors and examination providers are proficient in SSA programs, including the listing of impairments used to evaluate disability in adults and children under SSI.
- Train all staff on disability program requirements, documentation standards, and reporting obligations.
- Ensure providers and reviewers understand their potential evidentiary role in SSA's decision-making process, including appeals of denied claims.
- Maintain training records and refresh curriculum as SSA/POMS guidance is updated.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, education, or related field.
- Experience developing training curricula in a clinical, healthcare compliance, or government contracting setting.
- Working knowledge of SSA POMS and the Consultative Examination Guidelines preferred.
