In this fast-paced, customer-facing role, you will assist customers at the counter and over the phone by answering product questions, processing orders, recommending solutions, and helping ensure a smooth sales and pickup experience. You will build strong relationships with customers while also supporting showroom and basic warehouse operations.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning products, and working in a hands-on team environment.**On a daily basis our Inside Sales Associate:*** Assists walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.* Accurately enters sales orders, generates invoices, and processes payments or credit authorizations according to company policy* Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.* Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items handled at the counter, as prescribed by the manufacturer's warranty policy and customer needs.* Provides an estimated date of delivery to the customer based on knowledge of the vendor’s production and delivery schedules.* Pulls, stages, and distributes customer orders efficiently, including occasional use of an RF scanner.* Restocks and replenishes showroom merchandise to maintain product availability and presentation.* Cross-trains in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties to support overall branch operations.**What You Will Need:*** Must be 18 years of age or older.* Excellent customer service attitude and comfortable interacting directly with customers for most of the day.* Strong computer skills, including the ability to use basic computer systems and MS Office.* Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs. using equipment such as a dolly.**Preferred**: High school diploma or GED, 1+ years of related inside sales experience, Familiarity with pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction/maintenance.**Looking to work for the best in the industry?** Look no further than POOLCORP, the world's leading distributor of outdoor living products.
