Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• OBMI License
• ARDMS registered US Sonographer
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years Ultrasound experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic sonography procedures across various specialties, including OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, vascular, and small parts.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide necessary instructions to enhance cooperation and comfort.
• Select and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring the correct positioning of patients to adequately demonstrate the anatomic area of interest.
• Verify informed consent and assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure comfort and safety of patients during examinations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide practical instruction for students and colleagues.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient history and procedure details for practitioner review.

Compliance / Notes:

• Participate in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position.
• Required certifications include BLS and NRP.
