Manual Mill Machinist

Overview ProMach is seeking a Manual Mill Machinist for its HMC division. The role involves manufacturing parts according to drawings, maintaining raw material inventory, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery in a modern, climate‑controlled facility. Responsibilities Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models. Load raw materials into the milling machine. Operate and control the milling machine to shape the raw material. Monitor the milling machine to ensure operations meet exact specifications. Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery. Set up milling machines and adjust their speed. Measure and inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications. Replace dull cutting tools to maintain optimal machine performance. Identify problems with the machine and carry out necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in a custom machine shop. Experience operating manual mill machining equipment. Excellent safety practices and mindset. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple jobs simultaneously. Ability to read machine drawings and blueprints. Ability to follow direction and complete assignments as provided. Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with good attendance. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well in a team‑centric environment. Capability to perform set‑ups and produce quality parts from drawings with minimal supervision.
