Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic examinations, and creating personalized treatment regimens
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health issues, whether in collaboration with physicians or independently (as allowed by credentialing)
• Empowering patients and their families with knowledge on preventative care, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in line with clinical guidelines

• Accurately documenting all patient interactions in electronic health records (EHR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New York
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a corresponding specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
