Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist License
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
• Pediatric experience preferred - experience with adult and pediatric populations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to hospital patients; provide bedside respiratory therapy in acute and critical care environments
• Perform advanced respiratory therapy procedures including ventilator management, airway management, and advanced airway support
• Respond to emergencies and provide Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) when indicated
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, physicians, and other allied health professionals) to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide care across adult and pediatric populations as required by the hospital
