Job Requirements (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• At least 1 year of recent experience as an RRT in a hospital setting (acute care or critical care preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
• Preferred: Mechanical ventilation experience, ABG analysis, and emergency response/critical care exposure

Responsibilities (Respiratory Therapist / RRT)

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care and patient-centered services in a hospital environment
• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy interventions, including oxygen therapy and inhalation treatments
• Manage and monitor mechanically ventilated patients and perform ventilator adjustments per protocol
• Obtain and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and document patient response to therapy
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment and ventilators
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to emergency situations, provide critical respiratory support, and participate in rapid response or code teams as needed
