Job Summary Leading General Contractor in Michigan is looking for a Civil Superintendent. Relocation assistance is provided. Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 per year. Responsibilities You will manage multiple heavy civil construction projects in Detroit, including supervision of asphalt, paving, and road building work. You will lead teams, develop project timelines, and oversee efficient project operations. Qualifications 5+ years of experience supervising heavy civil work such as asphalt, paving, and road building, including manpower and team leadership. Project leadership experience creating project timelines as a prime contractor, not just following prescribed schedules as a subcontractor. A strong drive for new challenges and a proactive approach to improving processes. A combination of experience, determination, and critical thinking to develop well‑planned, highly productive, and efficient project operations.
