Job SummaryResponsible for providing exemplary nail service to the guests of the SpaJob DescriptionPerform all nail services that are offered on the menu or by promotion by following protocol sheetsPerform consultation and post treatments/recommendations for each clientAssist in clean-up and housekeeping duties. Nail Technicians are responsible for cleaning and resetting nail service rooms after each service.Have complete knowledge of all Spa services, packages, promotions and retail products presently offered by the SpaBegin and end each appointment on time. No service will be conducted in the Spa before or after regular operational hours.Participate in all spa activities including staff meetings, educational events, workshops, inventory or promotionsParticipate in all pre-opening procedures including pre-setting and restocking for the dayCommitment to and demonstration of our Corporate Culture, Vision, Values and GoalsAttend line-up prior to first appointment of the dayAttend all required departmental, training and general meetingsAssist other employees whenever possibleRe-stock treatment supplies, re-setting, folding fresh towels and layout fresh linens when necessaryComplete the end of day cleaning checklist at end of shiftJob SpecificationsAbility to get along with othersHighly service oriented, posses exemplary personal skills and be will organizedMust maintain a professional appearance at all timesBe able to understand and have to the potential to achieve employee and departmental goalsBe able to be punctual and prepared for each dayMust be able to work with minimal supervisionMust be highly service orientedAdhere to all Rock Barn and departmental policies and proceduresNo smoking is allowed before or while on shiftAvoid discussing personal problems with clientsPresent a well-groomed, professional appearance and in uniform at all time while on property.Internal QualificationsLicenses must be display during treatmentMaintain current Educational NotebookComplete in-house orientation program, which includes all policies and procedures as per the manual and employee handbookAdhere to OSHA standard, State regulations and Rock Barn Safety PoliciesPractice within the safety guidelines and health codes of Rock Barn and the State of North CarolinaExternal QualificationsMust have an active North Carolina Cosmetology or Nail Technician LicensePrefer one year experience in the Medical, Spa or Salon industryHigh School Diploma or equivalent; Spa or hospitality experience is a plusPhysical DemandsMust be able to sit for long periods of timeMust be able to see, hear, talk, sit, bend, kneel and crouch.Must be able to lift and move 20 poundsMust exhibit dexterity with handsThe above-mentioned information is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required, merely a general description of the nature and level of work.
