Produce Sales & Marketing Specialist

Address: 6650 Pine Vista Lane, Houston, TX 77092 Labatt Food Service seeks a Produce Sales & Marketing Specialist to buy and sell fresh produce through the company’s sales force. The position involves learning all aspects of the produce business, including technical product knowledge from growing regions all over the world, sourcing product from manufacturers and brokers, and selling produce products through sales representatives for a large customer base. The role works directly with the Produce Manager and offers an opportunity to learn the full business, including P&L performance measurement. Responsibilities include developing technical product expertise on all produce vendor lines and executing sales and marketing plans to grow these lines among over 3,500 company customers. Qualifications: Education – Bachelor’s degree in RHIM, Marketing, or a business-related field – Experience – Food service and/or produce experience preferred – Skills – Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to engage food service directors, chefs, managers, and owners; excellent time management; Microsoft Office proficiency. Spanish language skills strongly preferred.
